Chief Operations Officer
Lee-Anne is an entrepreneur with extensive experience launching and managing brands across the cosmetic, health and wellness sectors. She has built deep expertise in the South African cannabis industry, including regulatory compliance, licensing and quality assurance.
Currently seconded to Morama Holdings’ cultivation facility in Lesotho, Lee-Anne plays a key role in operational strategy and execution. Her approach is hands-on and collaborative, with a strong focus on aligning processes to the specific needs of each project.
Chief Financial Officer
Melissa is a qualified Professional Accountant (SAIPA) with a strong foundation in accounting and finance. She completed her articles in South Africa and holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting from the University of Pretoria.
With experience across a range of commercial environments, Melissa specialises in financial management, compliance and operational finance. She is dedicated to maintaining high professional standards while supporting the financial health and long-term sustainability of the organisation.
General Manager
Michael is an agricultural leader specialising in regenerative farming and sustainable cultivation practices. With hands-on experience in both farming and operations, he focuses on building efficient systems that support environmental responsibility and high-quality production.
His work integrates sustainable agriculture with the demands of the medicinal cannabis industry, ensuring consistency and compliance. Michael is also committed to team development, fostering a collaborative environment that prioritises mentorship, accountability and continuous improvement.
Quality Assurance Lead
Palesa is the Quality Assurance Lead at Morama Holdings, responsible for overseeing quality systems, regulatory compliance, product safety, and operational standards. With a background in Analytical Chemistry and experience in qualification and validations, quality Assurance, and quality control, she brings proficiency in maintaining GACP, GMP and GLP standards. Palesa is passionate about maintaining high quality standards and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Palesa has a knack for details, a critical trait to ensure that a facility the size of Morama Holdings meets all the required quality controls and specifications.
Operations Manager
Lineo is an Operations Manager with experience in regulated industries, including the cannabis sector. She focuses on driving operational efficiency, ensuring compliance, and improving internal processes to support organisational performance.
Her strengths lie in analysing workflows, identifying areas for optimisation, and implementing clear communication strategies. Lineo is committed to building structured, transparent systems that enable teams to operate effectively within regulatory frameworks.
